  • History
    • How It All Started

Mountain View Country Club opened in 2004 as part of a private housing community built by preeminent builder, Toll Brothers. Founded in 1967, Toll is an award-winning Fortune 500 company and the nation’s leading builder of luxury homes. Situated in the heart of La Quinta, California, MVCC was designed to be a small, intimate conclave of 426 homes surrounding an Arnold Palmer designed 18 Hole Signature Golf Course. The name of the community comes from the remarkable vistas afforded by golfers and homeowners alike. The surrounding Santa Rosa and Little San Bernardino Mountain ranges give our members and guests stunning expanses to complement their time on the course or enjoying time in our clubhouse. MVCC was designed to maximize views of the emerald green fairways, sky blue lakes and gorgeous mountains.

Our hub of activity is the Spanish Colonial style clubhouse with our restaurant, bar and patio dining featuring both casual and fine cuisine, comfortable lounges, golf shop and inviting locker rooms. The lighted tennis and pickleball courts as well as community pools and Wellness Center offer unlimited fitness opportunities. Members also enjoy our “clubs within a club” …Bridge, Hiking, Wine Tasting, to mention a few. The Club is an ideal place for members to connect with friends or meet new ones to create lasting relationships.
History of Mountain View Country Club

  • Our Course
    • A Thing of Beauty

Arnold Palmer planned our course based on his philosophy of strategic and sustainable design. He created an experience that is beautiful, fun to play and is in perfect harmony with our desert landscape. Open spaces and uncompromising views compliment the layout designed to incorporate and in some cases restore existing hills, trees and ponds. Our 18 holes provide the perfect mix of beauty and challenge that strikes a balance between function and form. A par 72 layout that offers five tees ranging from 5300 to over 7400 yards to accommodate all levels of play, it reflects the best of desert golf.

She continues to compete well with several wins and high placements throughout her career. We are lucky to have her on our staff and to be able to help our members improve and enjoy their game!
