Our professional golfing staff have created learning
opportunities for our members that includes private lessons, golf clinics,
rules and etiquette workshops, fitness routines for golf sessions, custom club
fitting and continuing ways to improve your mind, body and game. They are
committed to improve your level of enjoyment as well as your time on the
course!
Larissa Korth began her golf journey on the driving ranges of her hometown. She pursued her passion by earning a Golf Course Management Degree from the Golf Academy of America in Carlsbad, California. Larissa then embarked on her professional career, starting as an Assistant Golf Professional at PGA West Private and then transitioned to the role of 1st Assistant at Desert Horizons in Indian Wells. As an LPGA Class A member, she is dedicated to growing the game and supporting golfers of all levels. Her passion and expertise will undoubtedly enrich our golf program and enhance the experiences of our members on the course.
Sherry Andonian, our LPGA/PGA Instructor has a long and
successful career of teaching beginners to become excellent golfers. With over
30 years of experience in instruction and play, Sherry is one of those rare
golfers that is not only a great player, but a great instructor, mentor and
coach. As Colorado PGA’s Player of the Year in 2017, Sherry won 5 tournaments
and was in the Top 10, 28 times. And this year she was named Woman’s Player of
the Year by the Colorado PGA again! She continues to compete well with several
wins and high placements throughout her career. We are lucky to have her on our
staff and to be able to help our members improve and enjoy their game!
Kevin Austin played top junior golf events all over the United States and in the summer of 2001, he was top 100 ranked junior in the world. In 2001, he moved to the Palm Springs area to play golf at College of the Desert where in 2003 he was the Individual League Champion for the Foothill Conference League. Both years his team finished 2nd in the state championship. He turned pro in 2004 and travelled around the United States playing in different mini tours. He began his employment at MVCC in the spring of 2008 and has been here ever since, he loves coming to work every day to MVCC because of all the great members here. His motto has always been “I want that member or guest to enjoy every moment of their experience here at the best club in the world.”
