John Curci simply adores anything to do with food. He started in the industry as a youngster and has served in every capacity imaginable—from bus boy- to bartender- to server- to F&B and Operations Manager. He has been in the country club business for over 18 years, many of which were spent working in Club Corps Southern California properties. John comes to Mountain View from the Crow Canyon Country Club in the Bay-Area where he managed over $3.5 million in annual food and beverage revenue. John finds the culture and trends of food and wine to be fascinating.     

Jorge Martinez

Former Wolfgang Puck Executive Chef Jorge Martinez began his career in 1999 at Spago Beverly Hills. He showed such incredible promise and potential that Spago Executive Chef Lee Hefter offered him a scholarship to study at the Apicius Culinary School in Florence, Italy. Over the last two decades, Chef Jorge rose through the culinary ranks of Wolfgang Puck’s organization where he managed many properties. 

In 2012, Chef Jorge moved to Las Vegas to work as the Executive Sous Chef at Trattoria del Lupo. Within two years, he was recognized for his exceptional culinary skills and creativity and was promoted to Chef de Cuisine. He was then transferred to Spago Bachelor Gulch in Colorado. In October 2016 Chef Jorge accepted the Executive Chef position at La Quinta Cliffhouse Grill and Bar where he successfully created a unique dining experience while increasing revenues.

As our Executive Chef, Jorge boasts a rich and diverse culinary background. He spent the last several years honing his culinary and kitchen management skills to provide quality experiences featuring exquisite foods and fine wines. We are sure you will enjoy his savory and delicious offerings.

Shaun and his team are extremely excited about taking the course to the next level and you will often find him out there working the property alongside his crew because he genuinely enjoys every aspect of this “job.”  At the end of the day, he gets to wake up and go to a golf course every day … not a bad way to make a living.

Larissa Korth

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Larissa began her golf journey on the driving ranges of her hometown. She pursued her passion by earning a Golf Course Management Degree from the Golf Academy of America in Carlsbad, California. Larissa then embarked on her professional career, starting as an Assistant Golf Professional at PGA West Private and then transitioned to the role of 1st Assistant at Desert Horizons in Indian Wells.  As an LPGA Class A member, she is dedicated to growing the game and supporting golfers of all levels. Her passion and expertise will undoubtedly enrich our golf program and enhance the experiences of our members on the course.


 

Tonya Parker

When she is not in her office making certain the club's finances are in perfect order, Tonya can be found hiking in the desert with her dogs, Sky and Finn. She also enjoys reading a good book, watching a movie or savoring a wonderful meal. Born, raised and educated in Reno, Nevada Tonya has spent the majority of her career in hospitality finance. This career path took her from Reno to Seattle before she came to the Palm Springs area.

Denise Hennessee

Originally from San Francisco, Denise has lived in the Coachella Valley for 17 years. She loves the sunshine in the valley and enjoys playing tennis, cooking and just recently started playing golf. Denise comes to Mountain View with a hospitality background that includes experience at the Parker in Palm Springs, La Quinta Resort and 10 years at Marriott. She loves her role at MVCC!

Kim joined the Mountain View Country Club staff with a varied background in hospitality, event planning, photography, writing and graphic design.  She and her husband and daughter spent twenty-five years living in South East Asia before returning to the U.S. in 2019.  Having had family in the desert since 1955, she considers the area home and is thrilled to be back, especially working with the team here at Mountain View, to make the Member experience the best it can be.

Sabrina Miller

Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, Sabrina has a deep connection to the region which is rooted in her formative years spent living at Mountain View Country Club.   As a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer and wellness enthusiast, Sabrina has spent her time honing her skills though certifications, such as Fascial Stretch Therapy, and providing services at many country clubs including Palm Valley C.C., Indian Wells C.C., and El Dorado C.C.  

Her journey began with a strong focus on exercise and has flourished toward wellness recovery and improving the day-to-day lives of members. Sabrina is excited to lead wellness initiatives and design programs that cater to the diverse needs of the members.

Szabi Abel

Szabi was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. He worked and traveled with the company Holiday On Ice  as a backstage technician for 8 years and visited many countries and cities including Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Bogota, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Athens, Rome and Brussels just to name a few. That is where he met his wife Katy who is from Lake Arrowhead. They got married and moved back to the states. They have a son, Dominik, and his little sister, Julianna Hope. His hobbies include playing soccer, fishing and spending time with his family.
